Welcome to our special offer bundles. This is a cheaper way of buying your full kit. This bundle comes with both the monitor and camera and the length of cable is selectable at the bottom of the screen. If you want permanently on then you should select a longer length power cable so you may get the power from the front of the vehicle as opposed to the reverse light power if you just wanted on when reversing. This monitor is ideal for vans and motorhomes, it can accept 2 cameras or 1 camera and a AV input (eg DVD player) and is easily changed using the AV button on the monitor. The monitor comes in a shroud which is suitable for mounting in a headrest. This pops out if you prefer and and allows it to stand on the supplied bracket. The monitor comes with a bracket that is adjustable so you can alter the height and angles that the monitor is held. The menu functions allow you to change all the brightness, colour etc. and also allows you to flip images (allowing you to reverse an image from a camera that is non reversed). This monitor is one of our biggest sellers and has given us an amazingly reliable long life. The LCD backlight is LED as opposed to the cheaper CCLP backlights meaning these monitors should last a lot longer. The 7" screen gives a nice clear large picture and the screen is designed to be non reflective to stop reflection off the screen from the sun. The monitor comes with a wire that if connected to the reverse lamp will automatically turn the monitor on and select AV2 (which you would plug the camera in). The monitor also comes with a sound in. Although it doesn't have speakers built in it does have a headphone socket and comes with some free headphones. If you have a DVD player this could be plugged in to AV1 and either listened to using the headphones or output the sound from the DVD player direct to your AUX in sockets of your stereo allowing everyone on board to hear. As you can see this is a very versatile monitor.

This camera is my personal favourite and I have it installed on my own car. I have it installed as permanently on and where you can really tell the difference between CMOS and CCD is the night time picture. CCD is just amazing at night, the picture looks like a black and white day time picture when your driving along. I would really recommend a 7" monitor to fully appreciate this camera. Not many people know about the difference between CCD and CMOS so I have done a CCD vs CMOS paragraph below for those that are curious, the main point is that CCD has a higher uniformity than CMOS (which is more important than resolution and TVL figures), in fact sometimes the CMOS have higher res, but there is no point to that figure as if it has low uniformity then the picture won't be very good. All my CCD cameras use a 1/3" SHARP CCD sensor. No 1/4" rubbish that no-one has heard of before. This camera is nice and subtle, in that it is hard to spot, flush against the bodywork with just 2/3mm protrusion, which is tiny. The night vision is excellent, I used to have a CMOS bumper camera in my last car and to upgrade to the CCD version is unbelievable how much extra you get. This camera comes with a 5 meter video cable which is suitable for most car owners, video extensions can be bought in my shop if longer length required. The power lead is long enough for you to get the power from the reversing light but again a plug and play power extension cable can be bought from our shop if you would like the camera on all the time, so you can maybe take the power from the back of your radio or the back of a cigarette lighter etc. This camera comes with a 28mm hole saw to drill the correct size hole for the camera in your bumper. We have had people use these to mount the camera inside van doors etc. There is also O Rings which can adjust the angle of the camera slightly incase you need to mount on a bumper/surface that is angled. This has a wide angle lens so you can see what is going on around you even close up.

The above picture shows the camera mounted in the bumper.
The above picture was taken using our 7" touchscreen monitor which is why you have a reflection. The image was taken around 3 feet from the car.
The above photo shows the detail the camera picks up at night time.
