Fit a reversing camera kit to your Vauxhall Vivaro or Renault Trafic (2001-2014) van with our premium brake light reversing camera kit with a mirror monitor. The camera is fitted with a premium upgraded image sensor - the PC4089 700tvl, not to mention a very high-quality mirror monitor—able to fully show off the camera's potential with its great colour replication and sharp image quality. Add or remove guidelines from the image to assist with parking. The monitor powers the reverse camera, making it easy to wire. We offer a 2-year Guarantee with us—the forum favourite REVCAMUK. Support beyond this time with low cost monitor repairs and spare parts. Choice of mirror mounting options.
Tidy Factory Look - The brake light reversing camera is designed to be an exact fit to the location of the existing high-level brake light, retaining a tidy factory-fitted appearance on your van.
Easy Installation - This camera uses the original mounting points making it easy to secure to vehicle.
IP68 Waterproof - This camera is rated to IP68, a high rating that will easily cope with the strongest torrential downpours you may experience with the great British summer weather.
Superb Image Quality - This camera is fitted with an upgraded 4089 image sensor, which gives great colour replication and also returns a high resolution—700tvl. The camera also boasts an all-glass lens, which lasts a lot longer than the cheaper plastic-glass lens available from elsewhere (ours avoids the UV fade issues).
Ultra Wide Angle - Our brake light reversing camera boasts a 160-degree (diagonally measured) ultra-wide viewing angle. The extra wide angle gives you the wide angle required to avoid obstacles around the rear of your vehicle.
Excellent Build Quality - We picked the best brake light camera manufacturer we have come across to build these cameras to our spec. They may cost us more to bring in, but the picture quality, customer satisfaction, and reliability is worth it.
2-Year Guarantee - The factory we use is happy to support the two-year guarantee we offer for the brake light cameras. Feel reassured that your purchase is protected by us - Reversing Cameras UK Ltd, aka REVCAMUK. If any non-user damage fault shows itself in the two-year post-sale period, we will swap the camera to ensure your vehicles reversing safety.
Choice of Mirror Mounting Options - Choose from either a clip over the existing mirror monitor or a bracket directly to the windscreen option.

Choice of mirror mounting options
We stock two types of mirror monitor depending on how you would like to mount the display. The default option is the clip-over mirror monitor, which is fitted with strong spring-loaded clamps that attach securely to an existing interior mirror. The second has screw holes on the rear, which can fit to our direct-to-windscreen swan neck bracket attachments. See the choice options below :
Clip-over mirror monitor type - Fitted with strong spring-loaded clamps that attach securely to an existing interior mirror.
If you stock any of the other rear view mirror mounting options, you will receive a display with screw holes to the rear (see image below). This has no spring loaded clips, but a reinforced mounting back for our range of swan neck mirror brackets to fit. See info below for the various options available for this kit.
Bracket direct to windscreen - ACCMB5 - This option is supplied with a bracket to fit the OEM metal windscreen mirror button/plate that is commonly fitted to the Trafic/Vivaro vans. See the image below to check the fitment info. This option can be selected using the drop-down menu above.
Bracket direct to windscreen - (ACCMB2+Button+Glue) - This option is ideal for customers whose van was not equipped with either an interior mirror or the mounting plate/button above. This option is supplied with the Universal bracket + Universal metal button for the bracket to attach to + Loctite 319 mirror button adhesive. Please see our downloadable PDF instructions for fitting the universal windscreen bracket with Loctite 319 adhesive.
Choice of kit power options
On the monitor wiring harness is a 2.1mm DC socket. On the drop down menu of this product, you can select your desired power lead to plug in to this.
The standard hardwiring is supplied with all options, this terminates in a red wire (+12V/+24V), and black wire (earth).
For the ultimate quick install is a lighter plug option. Some people also order this just for the initial setup, before changing to the standard hardwiring/fuse tap.
Fuse taps aka piggyback fuse holders, are the most recent addition to our options. This allows you to "piggyback" off an existing circuit from your fuse box. The most common size fuse found in modern vehicles is the mini blade (size = 10.9mm wide x 16.4mm tall), older vehicles are likely to have the standard blade (size = 19.1mm wide x 18.8mm tall). Download and read our Fuse Tap installation instructions PDF for more information.
Our fuse taps were designed by us, they have a 200cm lead that connects directly to the monitor socket with no soldering / crimping required. There is a black wire with an earth terminal attached - designed to fix to a chassis bolt/screw. This earth wire/terminal can be separated away from the red wire to enable you to find the most convenient ground/earth (although often this is next to the fuse box).
Easy-Fit Wiring
We have been using this type of cabling since 2007, and it has performed perfectly in all of this time. It is called the 4 pin aviation cable, and uses what is known as a 4 pin GX12 connector.
This type of connector is very durable, and can be kept outside exposed to rain and freezing temperatures.
It makes fitting easier, and avoids CANBUS issues due to the monitor powering the camera.
It keeps contacts clean and dry, plus prevents them from accidental separation.
It has become the industry standard connector, which means you aren't forced to buy future cameras/cables/upgrades from one retailer - as parts are interchangeable between numerous suppliers (although we are confident you will be impressed enough with us that you will choose us for any future upgrades/spare parts).
All of our aviation extension cables are high quality, with the inner cores consisting of pure copper. We do not use the cheaper CCA (Copper Coated Aluminium) or CCS (Copper Coated Steel) cables, because they are more prone to failure/degradation over time.
Image Sensor for Camera
This particular system uses the PC4089 1/3" Hi-Res CMOS image sensor (not to be confused with the older technology low res CMOS), this runs at 700TVL and gives a really crisp picture with a good colour replication. We use 4xglass composite lens instead of the cheaper 2xglass, 2xplastic lenses, which cloud/fade over time due to UV exposure. With our camera you can be assured of good performance and long term reliability.
Monitor has Digital LCD Panel - Not Standard LCD
Our monitor uses a Hi-Res digital panel LCD screen with an 800x480 pixel display. To complicate matters we have seen a difference in quality between 800x480 pixel panels. We only stock LCD panels that have the brightest backlights, and the best colour replication. This costs us approx. 50% more than we could buy the monitors for, however, the reliability, picture quality, our reputation in keeping our many return customers happy, means we are willing to pay the extra (you get what you pay for!).
2 Year Guarantee
We supply with a 2 year Guarantee with us, meaning we will repair or replace any non-user damaged parts that are deemed faulty. Our failure rate is very low even beyond these two years, if you have a problem outside of 2 years we should still have compatible parts and possible repairs for reasonable amounts.
Parts Tested in the UK
The parts of this kit will have been tested twice, once by the factory and once by us. We check all the items in the kit including all cables, trigger wires, IR leds and menu functions to reduce any chance of having a non working part. Our fault rate is extremely low, and we just like to ensure that we avoid any imperfection slipping past. This is why professional fitters love us.
