Description

Swift Single Reversing Camera Replacement 6 Pin PS/2 to 4 Pin Adaptor Cable to replace RV77/CC-47, RV66, RV67 and more

This listing allows you to buy either the rear (camera side) or front (monitor side) adaptor to allow replacement of any failed parts of their reversing camera system. One side of the adaptor is a PS/2 6 pin, whilst the other is the conventional 4 pin screw aviation connector. We stock both male and female ends. If you are replacing a camera, you would require the Adaptor G (which is male); if you are rescuing the input from the camera at the front end, you will require the Adaptor G(F) (which is female). Please note that this cable is designed to match the pin-out (how it is wired up inside) of the OEM single camera systems fitted to Swift and Autotrail Motorhomes. They likely won't work with other similar looking cables (unless you plan to replace both ends i.e. install a new monitor and camera. We do not recommend trying just the one adaptor on any other system as the pin-outs may be different, we will not be held responsible for experimenting by trial and error with these adaptors.

The adaptor is designed so that one of our 4 pin reversing cameras can be used in the replacement, simply adding this adaptor on to our camera so that it fits the original 6 pin socket on the main extension cable back to the original camera.

This works to replace the following original equipment supplier's (Sargent Electrical) reversing cameras :

RV77 Reversing Camera (Wysco) aka CC-47-L

RV77 CC-47 Reversing Camera from Sargent electrical on a Swift Autotrail Motorhome

RV66 Reversing Camera

I don't presently have an image of this type of pod camera on the back of a motorhome.

FAQ'S

Absolutely not. Most cameras only require between 3-4 pins to be in use.  On the reversing camera, the adaptor does have a tail coming off (similar to what is on the original camera), this does allow the reverse light feed to run down one of the 6 pins to the EM 5 Series box at the front of the vehicle.

Many hundreds.  We have had no issues in replacing the cameras with one of ours.  The original supplier is presently referring customers to us for replacements.
