About the adjustable number plate frame reversing camera with night vision IR LED's

This is a very high quality number plate reversing camera, made by a factory that produces some of the best equipment we have seen.

Very easy to fit, simply remove the old number plate and place in this frame, then screw the number plate + frame together with the old screws/screw holes.

Similar looking cameras tend to fill auto electricians with a sense of dread, as similar barrel based cameras have an awful reputation for leaking.  Not this one!  These cameras have been impeccable, and are even waterproof rated to IP69K. 

This reversing camera is fitted with a 600TVL PC1058 image sensor - a premium CMOS sensor.  We do stock a Sharp CCD version of this camera, for those that wish to upgrade further.

With this camera you will get a great picture. The camera is fitted with an Aspheric lens, which creates a wide angle without too much fish bowl effect. The camera can be adjusted/angled up and down within the housing, and the camera can either be at the top or the bottom of the frame - the inner camera "barrel" can be removed and re-inserted to allow this.

The camera has a 4 pin screw connector on the end of a fly lead.  This is the most common, preferred connection.  If you wish to fit this to a car stereo, or phono/RCA monitor, then you will need some adaptors to convert the cabling to this.  We have a discounted adaptor set available on the drop down menu to order these.

How to fit the number plate frame reverse camera to your vehicle

This camera is very easy to install.

1. Unscrew your existing number plate from your vehicle

2. Slide the number plate in to the new number plate frame camera

3. Fix the number plate + frame camera to the vehicle using the original screws

4. Make a small channel on the number plate light to allow the wire to enter the vehicle without getting crushed (or use the attached grommet).
