Description

Replacement Compatible Bundle to replace faulty Swift RV77/CC-47 Single 6 Pin PS/2 Reversing Camera

If you need to replace a faulty RV77 / CC-47 Reversing Camera, originally fitted to some Swift, Autotrail, or Bessacarr Motorhomes, then this is one of the bundles we have supplied customers with for many years. It is worth mentioning that our reversing camera has slightly different dimensions from the original camera. In this bundle, we will supply an adaptor cable to go from our 4-pin screw connector to the 6-pin PS2 connector that is fitted to the original cable. Our adaptor has been wired up the same way as the original was. The adaptor cable has a trigger wire added; if the original camera had an orange trigger lead connected at the back (to reverse feed), then you will need to connect our trigger wire to this (if not, insulate this wire).

We do not recommend trying these on any other system as the pin-outs may be different, we will not be held responsible for experimenting by trial and error with this adaptor/camera bundle. This works to replace the following original equipment supplier's (Sargent Electrical) reversing cameras :

RV77 Reversing Camera (Wysco) aka CC-47-L

FAQ'S

Absolutely not. Most cameras only require between 3-4 pins to be in use.  On the reversing camera, the adaptor does have a tail coming off (similar to what is on the original camera), this does allow the reverse light feed to run down one of the 6 pins to the EM 5 Series box at the front of the vehicle.

Many hundreds.  We have had no issues in replacing the cameras with one of ours.

Approximately half of the installs had a reverse light connection (usually an orange coloured wire) connected up, the other half didn't.  If yours did, you would solder/crimp our wire to this.  If it didn't you would leave it unconnected, but please add insulation tape around the end to avoid it touching anything - it will connect to the reverse trigger pin of the 6-pin connector, so when the box at the front of the vehicle has reverse voltage, the trigger lead will also go live.
