Cables, Adaptors, Tools and Fixings

These cable adaptors will convert the 2010 onwards Waeco cable fitted on vehicles like Baileys to twin 4 pin sockets/plugs like we use on the twin camera systems. Both front and rear adaptors are provided.

This adhesive is one of the most preferred by caravan and motorhome coachbuilders, as well as fitters. Can be used to bond your reversing camera bracket up (if you remove the camera from the bracket first). This can also be used to seal the cable entry point. Previously known as Sikaflex 521.

If you see a DC power socket on a reversing camera or a monitor, probably around 99% of the time this will be a 2.1mm/5.5mm DC socket. In some circumstances you may wish to extend this cable, for example when you wish to run an RCA/Phono based camera whilst driving by taking an ignition based power supply from the front of the vehicle back to the reversing camera. This is one of our shorter length cables at 150cm, so it is probably more commonly used to extend the reversing light power supply cable from a high up position down to the rear light cluster.

In some circumstances you may wish to extend this cable, for example when you wish to run an RCA/Phono based camera whilst driving by taking an ignition based power supply from the front of the vehicle back to the reversing camera. In some circumstances you may wish to extend this cable, for example when you wish to run an RCA/Phono based camera whilst driving by taking an ignition based power supply from the front of the vehicle back to the reversing camera. This is our shorter length cables at 1000cm (10M) version.

In some circumstances you may wish to extend this cable, for example when you wish to run an RCA/Phono based camera whilst driving by taking an ignition based power supply from the front of the vehicle back to the reversing camera. This is our shorter length cables at 1500cm (15M) version.

Sometimes you wish to split one power supply cable so that it powers two separate devices eg a monitor and an MDVR, or two phono/RCA based reversing cameras. This cable allows you to do so.

We have instances of people using a 24V vehicle with a Phono RCA based cameras and cables. In these circumstances, you would require a dropper for the camera supply to regulate the output for the camera down to 12V. We also sell these to people that want to protect their phono cameras from any voltage fluctuations on 12V systems. These are only suitable for powering a camera and not a complete system (all of our premium systems have voltage regulators built-in already).

99% of the time, if you see a DC socket on a reversing camera or monitor, it will be a 2.1mm/5.5mm connector.  This wire allows you to provide power to this type of socket, and has an inline 3 amp fuse on the red input wire. Total length of this power adaptor is 150CM.

This is a 3 amp fused 2.1mm/5.5mm DC socket with 100cm red (+12/24V) and black (earth) wire attached. This is used in instances where you have bare red/black wires that you wish to connect one of our extensive range of adaptors with DC plugs to.

On some vans, where the doors are particularly thick it may obscure the vision of our roof mount camera (the plastic camera we sell for the roof which has a ball camera at the end). These stainless steel plates were made so you could extend the camera out further to give a better viewing angle.

This is the 5 pin version adaptor for the Fendt Vario - designed to be plugged in to the connection at the back of the arm rest converting it to a 4 pin "aviation" connector (as seen on almost all reversing cameras nowadays - including all of our selection).

These adaptors are 100cm in length. We have various extensions that will plug in to extend this adaptor, and a wide range of cameras that can be used.

We very often get people who have an older system that has unusual connectors that wish to adapt their existing wiring to the industry standard - 4 pin aviation connector.  In the past, our customers used to purchase a 1M cable, which they would cut in half to connect each wire to their existing lead.  We decided to get our cable factory to make us a new 100cm length lead which has been pre-separated out to the individual wires.  

Some Sat Navs and Dashcams have a small socket that looks similar to a headphone jack.  This is designed to accept video (and sometimes audio).  This adaptor cable allows you to attach a video feed using the yellow RCA/Phono plug (audio too if your camera is equipped with a microphone).  If you are adapting one of our 4 pin cameras then you will need a 4 Pin to RCA/Phono adaptor and some of our phono couplers to allow everything to mate together.

Please note that sometimes you will see the same type of connector on cameras, most commonly cameras which attach with a bolt (as this connector allows the cable to fit through the small cable hole for the bolt).  This adaptor WILL NOT work on the camera - as this isn't designed to give power to a camera.  We do not have adaptors for the cameras since we have seen the power enter on different poles.

A 12V lighter plug connection is still a popular option for people who either wish to test their reversing camera kit before hardwiring in, or for people who want the ultimate easy install.

We provide a 3 amp fuse that fits in the top slot which is the correct rating for all of our reversing camera kits, the lower slot will accept the original fuse to whatever circuit you are tapping off. You then attach the red wire to the power supply of the monitor either with the crimp, or by cutting that off and soldering (our preferred method).

An adaptor bundle set, designed to replace the mirror monitor on Sargent Electrical reversing camera systems that use the EM5 series boxes.  Commonly seen on Swift, Autotrail, Bessacarr motorhomes.  Our mirror monitor uses a slimline 8 pin plug, which then fits to our Adaptor I (converts to a PS/2 connector, which we have had pinned out to match Sargent's cabling). 

Adaptor to convert the 4 pin aviation connector on our dome reversing cameras, to match the 4 pin push fit S-video connector commonly fitted to Elddis motorhomes with the white dome cameras.  The OEM part number on the reversing camera is usually AW-9307.  Our white dome reverse camera is the same size, and can be used with this adaptor to replace the original camera. 

This bundle supplies both camera and adaptor to replace a failed white dome reversing camera fitted to an Elddis motorhome / campervan.  The bundle includes our white dome camera which has the 4 pin screw connector as standard, plus an adaptor to convert this to the 4 pin push fit connector found on approx 50% of the Elddis motorhomes with this type of camera.
