This is one of our latest cameras in, we wanted to add a small flexible camera to our range, with a high resolution.  We asked for these cameras to be made with the PC4089 image sensor - the same sensor we use in our brake light cameras, we spent extra to spec the cameras out with 4 glass lenses, instead of the standard 2 glass/2 plastic that you would usually see on these type of cameras (we chose all glass lenses because the plastic lenses go cloudy over time, because of UV exposure from the sun).  The PC4089 image sensor is one of the modern latest generation of CMOS (not to be confused with the cheap and cheerful CMOS of the past).  As the price is lower than CCD, we have passed these savings on to you.

This is one of our biggest selling reversing camera and is supplied as standard with a number of our 12/24V reversing camera kits. The 4 pin connector enables a nice waterproof connection between the 4 pin lead and the camera. The 4 pin leads carry both power and video down the one cable.

We get asked by some people for a camera they can make normal view instead of mirror (perhaps as an internal camera or a camera looking forwards or to the side).  Although we wouldn't recommend it low down looking forwards due to the risk of stone chips.
